This dragon is called a Zodian dragon. It is one badass mofo that came up with back in the day when we used to draw creatures together. I was inspired by our renewed sense of friendship (Yes, I will use such cheese-tastic phrases) and the fact we now plan to meet once a week along with . So yeah, I'm pretty much stoked.
Since I've decided to work on dragon anatomy a bit and add some things to my comic's cannon (anatomy details, don't worry bout it) I wanted to revamp this bad boy and do it some well-deserved justice it has gone too long without.
I tried to do some hardcore musculature and the sketch of this looked really freaking sweet. I think I'm getting better? I know there are some weird messed-up parts (such as with the wings) but overall I am satisfied.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
