Replacement for Julia lineart

She doesn't have a name yet, but here is the newly-drawn replacement character for Julia.

The problem with Julia (pronounced "HOO-lee-uh" like in Spanish) was that she never seemed to work. She was always an awkward, unloved, retarded kind of character no matter how many outfits I tried putting on her or refurbishments I tried giving her. Her name was old and outdated and could never logically fit in my storyline (because she's not Spanish whatsoever) and her face could never be drawn the same way twice.

Add to this the fact I have a new character that's a replacement for a me-based character (aka Julie from book 1 of the series) and well...Julia became even more useless. The problem was that an extremely important and necessary chunk of the plot relied on her existence, so throwing her out entirely was out of the question (despite this, I did try that once).

So here we are again. Julia redone. This time though, she is Julia no more.

She lacks a name yet, but I'll get one for her.

Her personality is slightly different from before, though her plot importance and wing design are the same. She looks different facially-wise though and her outfit has changed too. I also recycled some extremely old outfit ideas that had been scrapped from her original form. So that is fun.

I like her so far and I have high hopes for this character, so I can finally move on from the thing that should have never been, Julia.

And I know there are countless things wrong/crappy about this pic. Deal with it. It's better than having Julia around.
