Don't get excited, he's not in my storyline. Just decided to redraw an old character of mine for the hell of it.

And I have overdone the highlighting yet again. Poo.

Also, halfway through this I realized that the flight feathers should technically be the same color on both views of the wings...although the coverts can be different colors...But I was le tired and decided to color them in brown. Go me. He's just a special griffin, I guess.

Some info:

Only a very special few people will recognize this character. He's ooooooooooooold. So old that he's no longer in my storyline, which, at the time of his making, was plans for a video game. Times have certainly changed.

Mackle the Firebird Griffin was a badass griffin with flames (or a symbol for flames, I never really knew) and eventually had a flame on his tail, but I've decided to change a few things about him. His coloration is quite different and his flamey-doos are no longer as prominent. Nevertheless, he still retains some familiar features.

Mackle's name was created from taking my favorite color and favorite food (at the time) and putting them together: Purple + Macaroni and Cheese = Mackle. (Friend of mine's idea.) He had all kinds of adventures defeating the evil Electro the Electric Griffin, and then facing a more impressive adversary, (whom I'm planning on also redrawing,) Griffitor. Mackle's story eventually blended with some creatures I made up called Mysticals, and slowly it evolved into the Myst stone shit, a group called R.A.G.E., and slowly he became so minor of a character that I left him out.

Anyway, this is just for old time's sake. So here he is.
