Artist's Comments  You MAY NOT use this tattoo for your own tattoo design or for any other purpose. ----------------------------------------------------------- I feel kinda meh about this commission, but I touched it up and it's alright. The face needs a little work, but I do need practice on people. And the hair didn't turn out quite as planned...But I'm hoping that the tattoo artist can make do with it and perhaps make some parts better. (I'm also wondering how the artist will capture the details but hey...whatever.) Anyway, this commission was for  ; she wanted a Flame Butterfly Pixie. Not too sure how she'll scale it down enough for her shoulder. I tried to do a smaller drawing but it was really difficult doing the details on such a small level. If you're wondering why the wings have a bit of blue in them, it's because I figured, well, she's a flame pixie. Why not add some blue because some flames are blue? Annnnd I tried to do some foreshortening but I don't think it worked... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 23h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices.
